Dean,
Great to hear from you. Thanks for inquiring about Glenda. Glenda died
of lung cancer on Dec 13, 1994 in New London, CT where she was a
resident at a hospice. She had resided for many years in Mystic, CT
with her husband, Bill Miller, and three daughters, Clare, Ruth, and
Becky.
I don't know if you are aware, but Kay died six months later in Scott
City, KS, also of cancer. Both Glenda and Kay were only 56 years old, same as my
mother, Ruth, when she died. Marilyn is living in Roswell, NM with her
husband Alan Applegate. They are retired and recently moved from Denver
where she was a school counsellor and he a computer technician.
As for my history, I graduated from Emporia State and became a natural
gas engineer before joining the AF and becoming a pilot in 1968 when I
went to VietNam. I married my wife in Lubbock, TX and we had two sons,
Jason and Douglas. They are both married and live in Vermont and Atlanta,
respectively.
I retired from the AF in 1987, joined the CIA and retired from the CIA
in 2003. I am now retired, living in Edinburg, VA, where I have a small
vineyard and winery. My wife is still working in DC (also CIA) and she
will retire in two more years and join me full time out here in the
country. It's good to be back "on the farm."
Hope this helps. I will look for some photos of Glenda if you need
them. Regards, Will (Bill)

Glenda attended Lindsborg College as an art student after high
school, and married William (Bill) G. Miller, a professor there,
soon after. After spending a year in Mexico the couple moved to the
Long Island Sound area of Connecticut where he taught at a high
school emphasizing the arts. Glenda and Bill also collected antiques
and maintained a gallery from the home for many years. She
transformed the forest clearing around their home into an enchanting
garden and was active in the community garden club. Glenda continued
to pursue artistic endeavors while raising three daughters, and
their home was a refuge for many of Bill's students, many of whom
maintain close contact with the family.
Claire Miller Lary is Glenda's oldest daughter, a Social Worker. She
and her husband Doug settled in Willimantic , Connecticut, and
brought her elderly father to live with them a few years ago. They
have restored/remodeled their their second large Victorian House
there to accommodate her father and his live-in caretaker. Ruth
Miller Parish and her husband, Steven, live in Nelson, British
Columbia, Canada, with their two young sons. Ruth is an artist and
art director for a magazine called Porch
Porch.
Steven teaches engineering and drums at Selkirk College. Becky
Miller lives in the old family home in Noank., Connecticut.
