Life Began: Omaha Nebraska March 10, 1938

Pre School: I remember watching the soldiers and convoys going down the road and air planes flying - seemed like most all day. Yep, I went to Sunday school on occasion and also went fishing and played on the school playground. Learned family value and responsibility.

Education: K-4th, rural one room school house with a coal fired stove in the center of the room. Meade grade school from 5th grade on / the 7th grade put us into the brand new Meade Jr. Hi. Then 9 through 12 Meade High; Business College for 18 months learning the fundamentals of accounting. Over the years have picked up a few college credits attending computer classes. Attended tons of seminars and continuing education classes.

Business: Worked in the grain trade for 29 years as bookkeeper, manager and administrative duties. Real Property Appraiser for 16 years / current / State licensed General Appraiser; State licensed Real Estate Broker.

Contributions: Trade associations; Church Board positions; Kids baseball coach; Fund raiser campaigns; School Board member; charter member civic club organization and volunteered many hours towards "point in time" worthy needs.

Family: Married Bonnie Pennington September 16, 1955, It has been a very good 51 years and would do it all over again. We have 2 sons and 1 daughter, each successful in their endeavors. We have 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. All of our family is in good health with active agendas. Good Kansas living I guess.

Achievement: With God's help and our family working together all three of our kids graduated from college. Built two homes; Reached retirement; and so far so good.

Fun Times: Travel and vacation, a lot of 2 wheeling - 2 up. High school sports spectator. We watch our family grow and offer a helping hand when possible. We used to square dance a lot; now we go snow skiing and are looking forward to getting free lift tickets when we reach 70. Enjoy occasional wood working and home carpentry projects. I enjoy playing golf and like playing on a challenging course even if I am not a good golfer, but I'm working on it! Always ready for some adventure and fun times.
